The BX 1813D is a very versatile kiln. It is used in doll studios, pottery studios and classrooms. It fires easily to a true cone 10.

It is a double insulated kiln with 2 ½ " premium brick plus 1" of block insulation.

This double insulation saves approximately 30% in electricity costs and has a safer, cooler jacket.

Kanthal A-1 elements, stainless steel jacket and fittings, and excellent Cone Art craftsmanship all are standard.

The BX1813D is equipped with a Bartlett V-6 electronic controller which is mounted in an angled, easy view control panel.

MX Model: Please request information on the MX1813D which includes a kiln sitter and timer instead of the Bartlett controller.
