This Clay has been designed to feel more like a stoneware than an earthenware so it is used a lot by throwers working in low fire.It fires quite white.

This is the same as 02 20 but it contains 5% of a white 35 mesh grog.This aids in drying and is especially usefull for handbuilt and larger items.

This is a smooth, all-purpose talc body which fires very white. It has been designed to accept most commercial low-fire glazes and to stand up to the abuses of the classroom. Low White is also used a great deal by mold makers to make models because of its smooth texture and low shrinkage.

This body fires a darker red than PHB and has a smooth, clean surface. Low Red is used more as a throwing clay although many of our customers use it for handbuilding. It is a much stronger body when fired than most earthenwares.

This body fires pink-brown at Cone 06 and a little darker at Cone 04. This smooth, slightly sticky body is for handbuilding and throwing and accepts commercial low-fire glazes. It is used extensively when plasticity must be retained over a long working period as in children's or seniors' programs.

This is the grogged version of PHB The addition of 5% 35 mesh grog aids a great deal in drying so that it is used for larger handbuilt pieces.

This body has a strong red colour. When fired to cone 04 it will be as durable as most stoneware clays. Originally designed to provide an excellent backdrop for majolica decoration, this body provides a solution to the dilemma of making truly functional ware at low-fire temperatures. It is formulated for higher expansion/contraction to counter crazing.
